Lovehatehero is a six-piece post-hardcore band from Burbank, California and was formed in 2003. They’ve released three albums so far, the latest being America Underwater. America Underwater was released in 2009 and contains the track Echoes which is my favorite song from the album! The group consists of Pierrick Berube (Vocals), Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Justin Whitesel (Rhythm guitar, keyboards), Arthur “Paris” Bosserman (Bass, backing vocals) and Scott Gee (Drums).
With their new album Lovehatehero took a new direction and went from a post-hardcore sound to a more pop-punk influenced sound. The catchy lyrics and the catchy melodies makes this a pretty good track, even though this is usually a bit out of my normal genre, it’s still quite enjoyable. You won’t hear much screaming or growl in this song, but it’s still catchy and pretty good!
