I discovered Blood Command when they were one of the bands that got released to Getaway Rock Festival. Blood Command was formed in 2008 by Yngve Andersen (Guitar, bass, keyboard). He recruited singer Silje Tombre and drummer Sigurd Haakaas. The band is from Bergen, Norway. I believe this is only the second time I’m writing about a band with a female singer, shame on me!
What can be said about this tune? Well, it’s great; it’s melodical and mixes pop, punk and rock. I can’t help but compare them to the Swedish band The Sounds. High Five For Life is a great and catchy tune with a powerful chorus and a very melodic rhythm. Me likey. Definitely a band to keep an eye on, they’ve already supported bands like Biffy Clyro. The future is bright for them!
