Swedish band Adept was formed in 2004 and released their debut album, Another Year of Disaster, in 2009. Following the success of their first album they went on a German tour together with Her Bright Skies. In 2010 they started working on their second album together with producer Fredrik Nordström (In Flames, At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity, Bring Me The Horizon) and Death Dealers was released in 2011.
The Song Sound The Alarm is from the album Another Year of Disaster.
The Song: For me, there are very few metalcore acts that stick out and have their own sound. But Adept is one of those bands that stick out from all the thousands of metalcore bands out there. The guitar work is very technical and sounds well-produced. The vocals range from growls to cleans. Adept will be releasing their new album in March, definitely something to look forward to!
