Comeback Kid is a four-piece hardcore band from Winnipeg, Canada. Their rise to fame within the hardcore scene can be credited to word of mouth and their first album Turn It Around was met by positive reception. The song Wake The Dead is from the album with the same name, Wake The Dead and was released in 2005. The album peaked at #16 on the Top Heatseekers and #27 on Top Independent Albums.
Wake The Dead is a pretty catchy song with a great “sing-a-long” type of chorus. It’s pretty much a typical hardcore song with a lot of speed and yelling vocals. This is probably my favorite song from Comeback Kid. These types of hardcore songs are my personal favorites. Intense and a lot of energy.
