Protest The Hero was formed in 2001 and is a progressive metal band from Ontario, Canada. The lineup has been the same since their formation consisting of Rody Walker (Vocals), Luke Hoskin (Lead guitar, piano, backing vocals), Tim Millar (Rhythm guitar, piano, backing vocals), Arif Mirabdolbaghi (Bass, backing vocals) and Moe Carlson (Drums).They’ve released three albums and are working on their fourth album which is planned to be released later this summer. Blindfolds Aside is a track from their first album, Kezia, and sixth track and the last track of “Part 2: Prison Guard” (The album is split in to three parts).
Protest The Hero is a very technical band and unique in many ways. The song Blindfolds Aside is no exception! The song is spontaneous and unpredictable. However, Blindfold Aside is a bit slower than for example, Divinity Within and Nautical. If you like technical, fast-paced metal you will most likely like Protest The Hero! Check it out!
